Danella Sealock is gone from her post on the Washington NBC affiliate WRC, and fans looking to learn about her fate are wondering whether the popular morning traffic reporter was fired.
Sealock left the Washington affiliate’s morning show last week, with a brief notice from the station noting the end of her tenure on the show.
“You’ve been a very bright spot on this team and for our show and for our whole show here for three years now,” said Aaron Gilchrist. “We appreciate everything that you’ve brought to this group.”
But there was no word on whether Danella Sealock was fired or left the show on her own.
Danella herself didn’t offer many details, though she did take to Twitter to thank fans for their support after her departure from the show.

Danella Sealock is a Washington native who used her years of experience in the area to help morning viewers navigate the notoriously difficult morning commute.
Her official NBC Washington bio, which was still accessible a week after she left the show, offers more details on Sealock’s wide-ranging media background:
After graduating from Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Sealock moved to Manhattan to attend New York University. After graduation, she returned to Washington to start her career hosting a radio show on 93.9 KYS-FM. While there, she caught the eye of executives at Black Entertainment Television and launched her television career as an entertainment reporter. While at BET, she was featured on 106 & Park and hosted shows including The Black Carpet, Spring Bling and The BET Awards Pre Show.
In 2010, Sealock became co-host of The Big Tigger Morning Show on WPGC-FM, 95.5 and began her affiliation with NBC4 almost immediately as a contributor to NBC’s Daily Connection afternoon show.
There is no word however on why Danella Sealock may have been fired, or where she will go next.
